Projects cover most aspects of civil and structural engineering including power stations, industrial projects, marine works, offshore structures, public health, general structural projects and highways together with process engineering for the building materials industry.

The service is tailored to the needs of each client and may extend to control and management of all aspects of a project, or it may be as a sub-consultancy, provision of specialist advice, or a supplement to a client’s own organization.

ALL THE SKILLS NECESSARY TO OFFSHORE PROJECTS

While IAA has in-house capability to handle the structural and naval architecture aspects of offshore projects, it can also assemble teams to execute all other aspects of offshore projects: mechanical outfitting, process and topsides, decks and module support frames, living quarters, storage facilities, subsea pipelines, subsea developments, loading and transportation systems, tanker conversions, marine operations, anchor and mooring systems.

Numerous in-house computer programs have been developed for finite element analysis (linear and non-linear), dynamic and fatigue analysis, soil-structure interactive foundation analysis, wave kinematics and wave forces, dynamic behaviour of floating bodies, computer aided design, and typical static and dynamic calculations of structures.  These programs, developed from the needs of the engineers and through R & D projects, are used by all IAA ASSOCIATES engineers, as appropriate for each project.  Other off-the-shelf software as dictated by the client can also be used by our engineers.
